Loner

Some grapes are meant to mingle, others aren’t. Pinot Noir takes center stage in Loner, a focused project within the Sanguis Collection, helmed by winemaker Matthias Pippig.

Sourced from steep, wind-battered vineyards in the Sta. Rita Hills—some of the most expressive sites in Santa Barbara County—Loner wines are crafted with whole clusters, native yeast, long elevage in neutral oak, and no fining or filtering. The result: graceful, aromatic wines with edge, drama, and unapologetic California charm.
