SAMsARA Wine Co.
Founded in 2002, SAMsARA produces around 3,000 cases annually of limited-release Pinot Noir, Syrah, Grenache, and Chardonnay from micro-sites within the Sta. Rita Hills & Ballard Canyon AVAs. These are expressive, site-driven wines shaped by a cool climate and thoughtful farming.
Since 2017, winemaker Matt Brady has led the charge, selecting specific vineyard blocks where slope, soil, and exposure align to bring out the best of each variety. In the cellar, the approach is minimal—native fermentations, gentle handling, and no shortcuts—allowing the vineyard to shine.
SAMsARA leans into the savory side of Sta. Rita & Ballard, letting natural structure and nuance balance the generosity of California fruit. The result is a lineup of wines that are complex and impeccably balanced—built for the table, and built to last.
