Sanguis
Founded in 2004, Sanguis is where classic winemaking and modern creativity meet. Led by German transplant Matthias Pippig, the wines are made with native yeast, stem inclusion, long aging in large barrels, and minimal handling—farming and process are thoughtful and meticulous.
But what really sets Sanguis apart is the blending: Syrah with Cabernet, Chardonnay with Roussanne, Grenache with Petit Verdot. It’s not about rules—it’s about making something delicious. The wines are expressive, aromatic, and structured, often named with an artistic or musical nod. In fact, each release comes with its own music pairing, a reminder that Sanguis is as much about feeling as it is about flavor.
