The Pacific is our blue monster—shaping climate, carving soils, and influencing everything we grow and make along California’s coastal edge. WhaleSong, part of the Sanguis Collection and led by winemaker Matthias Pippig, is an ode to Chardonnay grown in its shadow.
From the wind-battered ridgelines of the Sta. Rita Hills to the misty slopes of the Sonoma Coast and Columbia Gorge, these cool-climate sites deliver brightness, tension, and clarity. Each region is bottled two ways: an AVA blend built for early, high-frequency enjoyment, and a single-vineyard bottling crafted for the cellar.
These are expressive, age-worthy wines, shaped by oceanic intensity and vineyard nuance—built to sing now and resonate for years to come.
